A Strength & Conditioning Gym
Folks, this was an awesome workout on several levels. It was tough, to be sure. Beyond that, there was a component of mental toughness that was present to a higher degree than on other workouts. Carrying a heavy load for a mile affords you the time to think about it. You have to develop a strategy to keep yourself moving and not quit. Everyone has a different method or "trick" to keep moving. This is a superb pure CrossFit workout. Large load, long distance. A great benchmark. Definitely look for it to be repeated. Congrats to all you who suffered thru it.
52# - 11:56Awesome job Zach --that's a heavy load
Thanks Amber, but kozak blew me away he carried about 97# and finished under 9 minutes!I don't think you will have a problem with beach to bay after running a mile with 52#...haha
